Walsh McDermott Medal
The Walsh McDermott Medal honors NAM members for long-standing, exceptional service to the NAM and the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. Contributions may include leadership roles, committee service, review work, fundraising, or advancing NAM鈥檚 mission. Service on cross-disciplinary initiatives, such as the Committee on Human Rights or the Government鈥揢niversity鈥揑ndustry Research Roundtable, is also recognized.
